Autoimmune the Cause and the Cure

Autoimmune diseases have tripled in recent decades, affecting 50 million Americans.

Born from the author’s personal struggle, this compelling guide now offers hope and relief to millions seeking answers.

“This book is a must for anyone suffering from an auto-immune illness”
I found the information collected fascinating, the truth behind our supermarket salmon, our ‘dead’ milk etc etc. A friend with a seriously threatening auto-immune illness has taken it away to read, while another has begun to make his own kefir with raw milk and says that he has has far more energy after just a few weeks of taking it. So, I would really recommend this book to anyone and everyone. I am sure that the information within can help everyone to strengthen their immune system, be they old, young, extremely ill or at the beginning of a serious body imbalance.

“So far this has made the biggest impact for good on my health than anything else I have tried over the past 20 odd years”

The book made a lot of sense to me and I decided to try the dietary protocol outlined in it. So far this has made the biggest impact for good on my health than anything else I have tried over the past 20 odd years. When I first read what I had to do, I felt overwhelmed but I decided to make a start with milk kefir first. My pain has reduced and my energy has increased. I still have a way to go but with the results I have seen, I am committed to this way of life for the rest of my life. I recommend his book to everyone but it seems that most people seem to need to reach a point of desperation to be willing to make these changes. I would have loved to have been able to have this information years ago but I am so thankful that I finally found it in this book.

“This book is a godsend to me”

As an RN, it is important for me to have a clear understanding physiologically what is happening to my body and be able to identify reasons behind it. The book “Autoimmune” describes clear objective medical reasons why our bodies are unable to function metabolically causing our immune system’s inability to do its job. This book teaches you about the deficiencies in our bodies ability to breakdown proteins into amino acids and and foods we eat that are unable to breakdown into the vitamins and minerals we should be able to absorb with the food we eat. There are answers to why this happens and what we can do to help our bodies metabolically process what we need to help our immune system fight this disease.

What is the Cause of My Autoimmune Disease?

  • Autoimmune diseases occur when the immune system mistakenly targets and attacks healthy cells in the body, treating them as if they were harmful invaders. This misdirected immune response often begins with dietary proteins that haven’t been properly broken down before entering the bloodstream. When these proteins leak into the bloodstream, they can trigger inflammation and damage in tissues and organs throughout the body.

In the book, we explore strategies for ensuring that dietary proteins are thoroughly broken down before they enter the bloodstream. This approach helps reduce inflammation and supports your body’s ability to absorb essential nutrients effectively.

  • How Can I Manage My Symptoms and Pain?

  • In the book, we delve into a variety of approaches to manage your symptoms and pain effectively. We discuss the use of herbal remedies, specific foods, and teas that help reduce inflammation throughout your body. These methods are designed to replenish essential nutrients in a way that aligns with your body’s natural processes. Rather than simply masking symptoms, these strategies target the root causes of your discomfort, helping to alleviate your pain and improve your overall well-being.

  • Are There Any Dietary Changes I Can Make?

  • We have found diet to be the most effective way to manage our autoimmune symptoms.  Autoimmune diseases, along with Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, often involve issues with nutrient absorption and metabolism. To ensure that your body gets the nutrients it needs, it’s important to consume them in a way that aligns with your body’s natural processes. In the book, we explore specific dietary changes that can help address both nutrient deficiencies and metabolic concerns. We provide guidance on which foods to include in your diet to support your body’s needs and improve your overall health.

  • Can Stress or Lifestyle Affect My Autoimmune Disease

  • Absolutely, stress and lifestyle choices can have a significant impact on autoimmune diseases. When you experience high levels of stress or lead a demanding lifestyle, your body can become depleted of essential nutrients and resources. This depletion means your immune system and overall bodily functions have less to work with, potentially exacerbating autoimmune symptoms. Chronic stress can also trigger inflammation and disrupt the balance of your immune system, further complicating the management of autoimmune conditions. By addressing stress and making positive lifestyle changes, you can support your body’s ability to function more effectively and potentially reduce the severity of your symptoms. The book offers practical advice on how to manage stress and make lifestyle adjustments to improve your overall health and well-being.

  • Why Am I Diagnosed With Several Diseases At The Same Time?

  • It’s not uncommon for people to be diagnosed with multiple conditions like Lupus, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Multiple Sclerosis, Fibromyalgia, or Chronic Fatigue Syndrome simultaneously. Additionally, someone maybe diagnosed with Lupus and then years later Multiple Sclerosis or Rheumatoid Arthritis.  Although these diseases are often classified differently due to their distinct symptoms, they often share underlying pathways in the body. These common pathways involve how the immune system and metabolism function, which can contribute to overlapping symptoms. By understanding this common disease pathway, you can more effectively address the root cause of all autoimmune diseases and manage the diverse symptoms they present.

  • Are These Conditions Linked to Mental Health Issues Like Depression and Anxiety?

  • Yes, there is a notable connection between autoimmune diseases, Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, and mental health issues such as depression and anxiety. One key reason for this link is that the same nutrients essential for physical health are also crucial for mental well-being. When these nutrients are deficient, it can impact both your body and mind. This deficiency can contribute to the development or exacerbation of mental health issues, as your body struggles to maintain balance and function properly. In the book, we explore how addressing these nutritional gaps can help improve both physical symptoms and mental health, offering a more holistic approach to managing these interconnected conditions.
